PUBLIC NOTICE
SCHOOL REFORM COMMISSION
THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF PHILADELPHIA
AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF PHILADELPHIA INTERMEDIATE UNIT NO. 26



The School Reform Commission will conduct regular action meetings to deliberate and take action on general business on the following dates:


August 17, 2017, September 14, 2017, October 19, 2017, November 16, 2017, December 14, 2017, January 18, 2018, February 15, 2018, March 15, 2018, March 22, 2018, April 19, 2018, April 26, 2018, May 17, 2018, May 24, 2018, June 21, 2018, and June 29, 2018. All action meetings will begin at 4:30 PM in the Auditorium, Second floor (Portal D), of the School District Administration Building, 440 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA.


Persons who wish to address the SRC at regular meetings must register with the Office of Parent, Family and Community Engagement by calling 215-400-4180 no later than 4:30 p.m. on the business day immediately preceding the meeting at which they wish to address the SRC.


At the regular action meeting on March 22, 2018, in addition to general business, the School Reform Commission will also adopt and submit to the Mayor of Philadelphia and City Council a lump sum statement of anticipated receipts and expenditures for the 2018-2019 fiscal year. Persons wishing to testify on the lump sum statement at this meeting must register with the Office of Parent, Family, and Community Engagement by calling 215-400-4180 no later than 4:30 p.m. on March 21, 2018. Copies of the lump sum statement will be available for public review at the action meeting, and on the School District's web site.


At the regular action meeting on May 24, 2018, in addition to general business, the School Reform Commission will also adopt the 2018-2019 Operating Budget of The School District of Philadelphia, the 2018-2019 Budget of Philadelphia Intermediate Unit No. 26, the 2018-2019 School District Capital Budget and Program, and amendments to the current 2017-2018 School District Operating Budget, the 2017-2018 Budget of Philadelphia Intermediate Unit, and the 2017-2018 School District Capital Budget and Program. Persons wishing to testify on the budgets at this meeting must register with the Office of Parent, Family, and Community Engagement by calling 215-400-4180 no later than 4:30 p.m. on May 23, 2018. Copies of the budgets will be available for public review at the action meeting, and on the School District's web site.
